We are the MAD (Make A Difference) Bashers! We have entered ourselves in the grueling 10 day Port to Port XXXX Variety Bash from Southport to Port Douglas, some 2000+ km via the outback with 200 other themed 30+ year old cars! (We must be MAD!)

Everyday on the bash has been extraordinary!! Today we travelled through the far north Qld hinterland stopping at Ravenshoe school for an awesome lunch and show by the kids… Once again, we all ate way too much and the arvo was a struggle to stay awake as the navigator even over some rough dirt...

After another late nite enjoying the show and the Crown Hotel, more than a few of us found it difficult to emerge this morning!!
After scoffing our usual huge breakfast and listening to bash director Robs’ debrief, we leave Charters Towers for our 400km+ journey with about half dirt to Innisfail....

Another awesome day on the bash – a layday… And yes I did lay down a few times during the lazy layday to sneaking some much needed sleep… Just as well as it was another big night to come with Variety hosting an Australian Idol show.
