Day 6 – Diff’s, Fireworks and the Crown

Another awesome day on the bash – a layday… And yes I did lay down a few times during the lazy layday to sneaking some much needed sleep… Just as well as it was another big night to come with Variety hosting an Australian Idol show.

But before the frevolities, the Youngies lads had to swap out the diff in Daves 1108 ute. After treating all the cars to a wash and tlc like cleaning filters, tending to loose and broken bits, it was into town for drinks at the pub and more drinks at the Variety concert at the Charters Towers show. Couldn’t go to the show without having a Dagwood dog n chips!!

Walking back, we heard that the pub at the top of town was the place to be and so we went in search and quickly found the Crown Hotel overtaken by bashers… There wasn’t a sole around the rest of town!! It was such an absolutely fantastic atomosphere it was impossible not to have a few more drinks!! Dave had trouble containing back at the hotel ;0)
